Richard Wallace left
Scotland, his homeland in 1990 to travel and work in the United
States. Breckenridge was one of his first stops and he has been
here ever since. Right from the start he recognized
Breckenridge's strong sense of community. With the friendly
people and the many outdoor pursuits he could share with friends
and family, Richard quickly became a Breckenridge local.
Richard began his real estate career with Moore & Company
Breckenridge in 1994 and following a buy out with his partners
in 1999, became one of 14 equal owners in the leading real
estate firm in Summit County - Breckenridge Associates. Honest
advice based on experience and thorough research is his goal
with each client.

Richard is an avid outdoor enthusiast, spending much of his
spare time in the summer golfing on the Jack Nicklaus designed
Breckenridge Golf Course, or mountain biking on any of our
endless trials. In the winter it's a mix of downhill skiing or
telemarking for an overnight stay in one of Summit Huts
backcountry cabins. Giving back to the community is part
of Richard's and his partners philosophy, sponsoring and
contributing to many community events and organizations
like the Summit Foundation and the Breckenridge Music
Institute. He is also an executive board member of the
annual Breckenridge Film Fest, helping to enrich the
lives of the people in Summit County.
